DR. PRABHAKAR S. MAHALE & VINODKUMAR P. PATHADE

ABSTRACT

The social wealth is a key indicator of the nation creating the dominance in the international market. The financial stability and strong banking systems are the measures of performance defining the developing, developed or under-developed economy. A country’s growth is largely dependent on its financial infrastructure, and almost all transactions end into financial transactions. The efficiency of the financial sector of a country has a direct relation with the utilization and mobilization of financial resources. The borrowing and lending cycle of a country, which involves these financial resources, leads to factors like employment and income generation and thus essentially leads to a stable economy.

EVALUATION'S IMPORTANCE IN IMPROVING TEACHING

DR. KINNA CHADOKIA

ABSTRACT

Evaluation plays a pivotal role in deciding what the learners learn and what the teachers teach. Evaluation is universally accepted as an integral part of teaching and learning. Evaluation is widely acknowledged as a powerful means of improving the quality of education. Evaluation influences the quality of teaching and learning. Evaluation is also the process of determining the extent to which the aims and objectives are being attained. The History of efforts at evaluation in education is characterized by many fragmented attempts in which research programs were often punctuated by conflicts over educational philosophy, psychological arguments and sharp differences of opinion over the evaluation techniques themselves. Two educational goals are looming up as of greatest importance, viz. helping each individual to make the most of himself and enabling society to make greatest progress. Both of these goals are developed by the individual’s total life in home, college and community. Both are matters of learned human behavior and human relatedness. If evaluation is to be accomplished here it will have to be in large extent a matter of observed, recorded, evaluated individual and group behavior.

SPECIAL LEGISLATIONS FOR THE DISABLED

MITESH PANDYA

ABSTRACT

For disabled people in India, life is a constant struggle -- for education, employment and access to public places. In the bigger cities, there is a glimmer of awareness about the need to include the disabled in mainstream activities. In poor rural areas, however, people with disabilities are among the most marginalised sections of the population. In addition to the lack of special services that would allow them to lead independent and fruitful lives, disabled people in India have to battle cultural prejudices. There is a belief that in some way people who have a disability are paying in this life for sins committed in a previous life.

ABSTRACT
